We are a family owned construction company in Corpus Christi, Texas that is very active in the residential and commercial designing, building, and remodeling industry.
The owner of the corporation, Jimmy B. Johnston (Mr. J) has been in the building business since 1979 here in the Corpus Christi area. A retired CW4, he served this country for twenty-three years in several capacities from Navy Seabee to Army aviator. After retirement, he began building houses here in the Coastal Bend. After several hundred successful projects, he has distinguished himself as one of the longest established and most respected builders in the area. Over the years he has been, and still is, very active in the community supporting projects for under privileged children, the USO, the US Army Depot, the Corpus Christi Builder's Association, the Island school project, and many more. Since 1992, Mr. J has been building primarily on Padre Island among his own neighbors and friends where he continues to take an active role in personally managing each project.
We at Mr. J and Sons construction do all types of residential and commercial work, as well as remodeling. Our staff and team of professionals follow Mr. J's high standards and well-known philosophy that "We will only build houses that we would be proud to live in." We take pride in producing quality homes and feel that we have an obligation to our customers both during the building stages, as well as after. Our devotion and loyalty to our clients, is evident in the fact that the majority of our customers come to us by word of mouth.
